The Crimean Crisis under the Prism of Turkish-American Relations
Abstract
Τhe Crimean crisis will lead to the strengthening of relations between Turkey and the United States in order to prevent Russian aggressiveness and access to the warm waters of the Mediterranean Sea. It is possible it will create a relationship of interdependence between the two countries. The case of Crimea may be a small step in improving relations between the two countries, since both countries have converging interests in this sensitive geostrategic region.
